Trump addresses Budweiser’s ‘mistake of epic proportions,’ teases releasing a list of non-woke companies

President Donald Trump poked fun at Budweiser on his Truth Social earlier this week, but he also defended the brand and announced that he is considering releasing a list of non-woke companies.

He wrote, “The Bud Light ad was a mistake of epic proportions, and for that a very big price was paid, but Anheuser-Busch is not a Woke company, but I can give you plenty that are, am building a list, and might just release it for the World to see.”

He described how the “Radical Left” strategically attacks conservative businesses.

Trump also noted, “Anheuser-Busch spends $700 Million a year with our GREAT Farmers, employ 65 thousand Americans, of which 1,500 are Veterans, and is a Founding Corporate Partner of Folds of Honor, which provides Scholarships for families of fallen Servicemen & Women.”

“They’ve raised over $30,000,000 and given 44,000 Scholarships. Anheuser-Busch is a Great American Brand that perhaps deserves a Second Chance?” he added.

Budweiser faced a massive backlash after hiring trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney to promote Bud Light last April, according to the New York Post. The company lost billions in revenue and apologized, claiming senior executives were unaware of the controversial advertising decision.

NBC News reported last May that Budweiser’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch InBev, did not expect the boycott to go on so long and has a history of partnering with the LGBTQ+ community.

However, the backlash was more strongly focused on opposing Budweiser’s choice to use Mulvaney because the influencer’s main audience is children, per Newsweek.

Conservatives have voiced strong opposition to child gender transitions due to the long-term side effects, per RSBN.

Whether conservatives believe Budweiser is worthy of a second chance or not, after not properly vetting their advertising campaign and potentially targeting children, there is a growing need to identify conservative businesses.

If and when President Trump will release this information is uncertain.
