President Donald Trump’s visit to California this month will feature an extra stop in Costa Mesa following his speaking engagement in Anaheim, where he will deliver remarks to the California Republican Party.

According to Fox11, Trump will visit Costa Mesa for a ticketed fundraising event, which is reportedly featuring tickets that are between $1,000 and $23,000.

As reported by RSBN, Trump’s visit to Anaheim on Sept. 29 will be the first time that the president has returned to California since campaigning for reelection in 2020.

His visit also comes in the wake of the CAGOP’s decision to set new primary rules that will award a Republican presidential primary candidate all 169 California delegates if they win more than 50 percent of the statewide vote.

Before this decision, they were reportedly on track to change the delegate award system, threatening to upend the “winner takes all” system that has traditionally helped candidates like Ronald Reagan win the Republican primary.

In California, President Trump is the frontrunner GOP candidate among GOP voters. FiveThirtyEight found that in a primary poll from the Public Policy Institute of California, Trump held 50 percent of support among Republican primary voters, while Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., held 24 percent.
