Trump will hold ‘Get Out the Vote’ rally in South Carolina on Saturday
President Donald Trump will hold a “Get Out the Vote” Rally in Conway, South Carolina, this Saturday with just two weeks to go until the Palmetto State’s anticipated GOP primary election.
According to an official statement from the Trump campaign, the rally will be held on Saturday, February 10, at Coastal Carolina University. President Donald Trump is expected to deliver remarks at 2:00 p.m. ET.
In South Carolina, the only GOP presidential candidate to challenge Trump in the state primary is the former governor, Nikki Haley. However, Trump is beating Haley in the polls by considerable margins.
According to a late January poll from Fabrizio, Lee & Associates, Trump has a 35-point lead over Haley among state GOP primary voters in South Carolina, powerfully trouncing her on her home turf.
Nationwide, President Trump is leading Haley with a 62-point lead, according to data from McLaughlin & Associates, giving Trump 81 percent of the GOP primary vote and Haley 19 percent.
Trump’s “Get Out the Vote” Rally in South Carolina may be the first of several campaign events to come. In January, the president foreshadowed upcoming “BIG” rallies in the Palmetto State, citing his massive victories in Iowa and New Hampshire, but noting that he couldn’t do a “large scale TRUMP RALLY” because of the frigid weather.
He wrote on Truth Social, “But in South Carolina, we are planning some really BIG ones. Get ready South Carolina, we’re going to have some fun!!!”
